If you have a work of fine art and/or a sculpture that you wish to sell through our auction, please follow these steps:
1. Send us a good-quality photo (up to 2MB) to the following email address: artauctionbg@gmail.com
2. Include information about the artwork — the artist’s name (if known), technique (e.g., oil on canvas). If there is a signature, please photograph it as well.
3. If you have any provenance information — the history of the artwork, origin, source, previous owners — please include it.
4. If you purchased the artwork from a gallery or auction and have documentation, you may include it as well (upon request).
5. If the artwork has restoration documentation, please include it (upon request).
6. After our approval for including the artwork in an upcoming auction, we will sign a contract. The contracts under which we accept artworks are consignment agreements and are valid for a specified period. A&M does not store artworks “in stock.”
7. Price determination: A&M proposes a price that reflects current market conditions. During bidding, any amount exceeding the minimum price set in the contract is split between you and A&M, typically 50/50, or under different terms depending on the artwork, how it is presented, and what is written in the contract.
