Online Auction / Guidelines:
To participate online, you must complete the required registration and fill in all necessary details.
The registration process on the A&M website includes the following steps:
1. Enter the required information in the registration fields and click the “Register” button.
2. You will receive an automatic email from the system at the address you provided, asking you to confirm your email. IMPORTANT: Check your spam folder if you do not see this message. This also applies to future emails from the system.
3. After confirming your email address, you will be able to complete your registration by logging into your profile page. There you must fill in all required fields such as city, address, etc. (These are marked with an asterisk.)
4. Once you complete these steps, your profile will be pending review and approval by the administrators. If we need any additional information, we will contact you directly via our email: artauctionbg@gmail.com.
5. If everything is in order, you will be approved to participate in A&M auctions with a bidding limit set individually for each auction at the discretion of the administrators. You will receive an automatic system email containing your approval and your bidding limit. (For example: a limit of €2,000 means you may bid up to that amount in the auction.)
If you wish to increase your bidding limit, please contact us for further approval at artauctionbg@gmail.com.
We recommend completing this process BEFORE the auction day.
Registration is also possible through our partners Bidspirit. The process is identical.
You create your own profile. It is personal and cannot be transferred to another user, but it can be deleted or removed.
You may participate in our auctions only with a completed registration.
The lots of the online auction are visible to everyone and are published on our website under the “AUCTIONS” section.
Two or more days before the start of the auction, it becomes active for pre-bidding.
Important:
The online auction begins on the specified date and time. Final bidding starts with LOT №1 at the opening time and proceeds sequentially.
If there is no interest in a given lot, the system automatically moves to the next one.
If there are bids placed in the “last minute”, the bidding time for that lot is extended until the highest price is reached.
Before a lot is closed, you will see a red indicator displaying “fair warning.”
This is the final opportunity to place a bid. If you do not react, the lot is considered sold, provided there was bidding.
Note that this message may appear even when there are no bids — it simply indicates that the system is moving to the next lot.
After a lot is sold, the next lot (in numerical order) is loaded automatically.
When the final lot has closed, the auction is officially finished.
The bidding increment is set individually for each lot, at the discretion of A&M. Under each artwork you may view the bidding increment table.
When the bidding time for a lot expires, the highest offer at that moment wins. The system automatically records the winning bid. A 15% buyer’s premium is added to the hammer price for each individual lot. This buyer’s premium is not added automatically.
For lots that start at or reach €50,000, the buyer’s premium is 10%, again per individual lot.
You have 3 to 5 calendar days to complete your payment — either by debit/credit card directly through the A&M website, or by bank transfer. Of course, you may choose to pay for the artwork(s) immediately if you prefer.
A&M bank accounts at DSK Bank:
BG30STSA93000023360254 – EUR (€)
BG86STSA93000022324644 – EUR (€)
We receive confirmation from the bank for each payment. After that, we proceed with the delivery of the artwork(s).
If payment is not completed within the specified period, it is considered that the buyer has withdrawn from the transaction, and the Auction House may offer the artwork to another client.
Purchased artworks may be delivered within 3 to 7 calendar days: personally by an A&M representative to the address provided (within Sofia), or by courier service within Bulgaria. For international deliveries, shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
A&M is not responsible for any technical issues that occur before, during, or after the auction. The winner is the participant whose bid is recorded as highest by the system.
A participant who does not comply with the online auction rules may have their registration blocked and may be prevented from participating in future auctions.
